Sad FX5200plus PCI(problem)

Hi, my name is RibekeiHiruto.

Well, I upgraded my compaq presario 5012US with an extra 128mb PC-133 ram with a new FX5200plus PCI. Every since the upgrade I can't play games. If I do, it freezes and re-boots. Hell, even when I don't it freezes and re-boots. I downloaded a new Nvidia driver and it still didn't help. When I play Quake 3 it doesn't work. So, can you guys help me?

Specs:OS-Microsoft ME, RAm-127,Graphics Intergrated, 40bg HD

New Specs-ME, 255mb, FX5200plus PCI, 40bg HD

i found this for a bit of a breakdown in your specs http://pcmag.shopping.com/xPF-Compaq...2US_470010_768 and found this link on your video http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...04&cm_pla=site ok this is what i would sugest 1st run driver cleaner http://www.hardwareheaven.com/cleaner/ read the instructions, 2nd on reboot go into your bios and turn off your onboard video and change it to pci . 3rd reinstall your video drivers for your new card. i did see the minimum psu for that card is a 250 watt you may need some more power if all else fails. and welcome to dh

Ok, I rebooted my computer(By pressing CTRL+ALT+Esc), then it showed something with the language selection. After I my me pick A: or something else. Everytime I picked one it doesn't do anything. Now my screen is big and I have to download a driver again. Did I do something wrong?
