GF4 Ti4200's driver

It seems 56.72 is the best one for it. All 6x.xx have some graphic problem

My best and last drivers for my Ti4200 is Omega's 1.5672a. Since using them I've never had to try any others.

I'm just wondering...why older than 56.72 omega's shows my graphic cards ram as 16mb/32mb/64mb and it should be 128 (GF4ti4200 nv28)

Yep...I noticed that nowadays older create weard lag in games even on CS 1.6
like I had lack of memory :S I'm currently using SS 56.72X. I found they are the best
for my GF4 Ti4200.

the reason the older drivers work better for the 4200 is because it is an old card now, when they make these "unified" drivers they tweak them to work better on their newer range of cards, the 5x.xx series was more the mid range FX boards really, the 4x.xx series was more for the Geforce 4's, but the 6x.xx series is made for the high end FX boards and the forthcomming release of the GF6800 series boards (dont think they were quite out when them drivers were made) and tweaked to work better on them than any other cards.

just cos your using an old driver dont feel left out, just use whats perfect for your card, not what is the next driver release
