Damn Flickering!

Well, im new here, and i love the omega drivers. I'm running a Geforce FX 5200 128mb on a 1.7 ghz p4 system 256 mb RAM. I get fine gameplay in most games, but whenever i play doom 3, i get a good framrate (55-60 FPS) but it keeps flickering. is there anyway to fix this!? ive tried changing refresh rate, and lots of other things inside doom 3 buts its no use. it just keeps flickering. sometimes there is no flicker, which is great for a few seconds, but then it comes back. Please help

im using the latest drivers.

EDIT- i forgot to mention my card is overclocked 277/456
