Quick Question about 66.70 drivers
Hey folks. In search of the 66.70 drivers, I found some file size differences. I downloaded the drivers from both 3dchipset.com and Guru3d.com. I found that the uncompressed sizes of all the files are different between the 2 sources. 3dchipset's uncompressed file size is 12.6megs, while Guru3d's is 24.2megs. My question is, is there any difference between the two? Which one should I install? Thanks.

Guru3d's is WHQL and 3d chipsets isn't?

No that's not it, you're right that's very strange, it's not just the total sizes of the package either the actual files are different sizes, like the nv4_disl.dl_ file in the Guru3d package is 3.6 MB but in the 3d chipset package it's 1.9Mb lots of files have the same discrepencies in file sizes..... and different modification date/times. This is what I'm seeing here....

perhaps, the file size difference is due to differences in the compiling of the code, I have not used the drivers from 3d chipset but the guru3d ones gave me the best performance in most instances out of all the drivers I've used, especially OGL.
