Best driver for HL2 Use
Ok i have an Asus Pci-Express 5900 FX card and I am using the 66.81 beta drivers right now and they work pretty good, I got a boost in mark03 and I can play farcry very nicely x-cept for a bit of a flicker on a tree trunk. It seems that all my framerates have gotten up... I'll test Battlefield Vietnam later.... Some other minor problems are that after u use windows media player and watch a video then close it off and try to delete the video, the monitor has to go plack to change something then it comes back... Thats never happened before. Same thing when I go into the Analog display sometimes.
Before this i had the 61.77's and they were umm... Default haha average i guess... But I hear that the 66.72's were the best... And I mean Gaming. I dont care about my benchmark score.. I want games, Half Life 2! So i was wondering what driver U reccomend and how to switch over.. Do i just install or do i have to remove the other first? Thanks for your help. |

Yah I know I just updated to them.. I dunno how they do but eh. Are they WHQL? They said so on the site but using the details on 3dMark03 it says that WHQL certification is false.
