exclamation No direct3d games will run

OpenGL works just fine, but no direct3d games will run.

Tried:

1) Have reformatted hd
2) Installed/reinstalled the latest nvidia drivers
3) Installed/reinstalled the latest omega drivers
4) Installed/reinstalled the latest directx
5) Tried using older versions of directx
6) Installed/reinstalled chipset drivers
7) Tried disabling and then reenabling direct3d acceleration

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please?

I am using a
Geforce FX 5600 and am running XP Pro.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions/solutions!

Yeah, like Neon said; Without more info on your system setup, which drivers, how the problem started etc.. there is not much we can do to help. Post some details and we'll see what we can come up with.

Have a look at my sig (below) and you'll start to get some idea of what sort of info's needed.
