Problems Running an older game

I built this new system about 4 months ago and havent been able to play Crimson Skies on it at all.I no its an Issue with the video card or drivers because it runs fine when I install my old 9800 pro into the same system. The game will run,but any text in the game thats not set shows up as blocks of color.By this I mean that If your trying to change rockets ,or setup your stick, the text that changes will be unreadable.I didnt worry to much about it,thinking that it was just a driver issue and that theyd fix the problem with the next update, but Im runnning the just released 66.93s and theres no change.Ive even tried to use 7-8 of the older drivers to fix the problem and nothing so far has worked.Any ideas what else I could try to fix this problem????

MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum,AMD Athlon 64 3800+,2- 512 sticks Kingston HyperX PC-3200 dual channel ram,2 Maxtor 160 gig serial HDs running Raid 0,Sound Blaster Audigy 2,PNY Geforce 6800 Ultra,500 Watt Antec PS
