it doesn't make anywhere near as much of a difference on nvidia cards. But yes, you are welcome to try with them off. I leave them on, but haven't done any testing with them off. Give it a shot and lemme know how it goes.

Nvidia plays nice with FW, it's up to you how you want to run them, since it's inception FW has come quite a ways and is much less troublesome with nice performance....

thanks guys, fw on works great on my system.just wanted let u know that shadows look a bite weird on doom3 .

Bit wierd how? and are you using the autoexec provided with the drivers?

oh sorry i forgot about the autoexc.the problem is gone now that i runned the autoexec,everything looks good now.much better than my old card (atiradeon9800xt)
