exclamation GeFX-5200 Issues (Urgent), Help req. for GeFX 5200

HI All.

I recently bought an MSI GeForce FX 5200 T128 (128 MB DDR) card.
I Own a P4 Intel 845 based MOBO with specs as follows -

O.S. - Windows ME (GOLD, Jun 2000 ed.)
Processor - P4 1.6 Ghz (256 KB Cache)
Video - GeForce FX 5200 (128 MB DDR, MSI original)
RAM - 512 MB SDRAM;
HDD - 40GB 7200 RPM. (HDD Primary Master with DMA mode enabled)
Other - 1 CDROM & 1 CDWriter drive.

Following are my doubts which I have and for what I need all your advice.

1. This I guess, would be the most asked Q around here (after which card to buy, i.e.)!
What driver would be the best for this card given my current config above?? The driver version currently installed (from the CD I got with the card) is "ver 56.55". I want to play games like GTA (whichever is the latest), with HALO etc...
Also, if poss. let me know "best" ver. for both Win ME & XP as i could be switching to it in near future (I feel tht this driver version with MSI is too buggy though, what say!?!)

2. These days I am having a weird prob. Whenever I try to play videos in full screen mode, be it in Windows Media PLayer, or the other players, my system hangs and I've to give the 3 finger salute (Ctrl+Alt+Del) to recover it. What could be the prob here as I have reinstalled the OS & the media player too!! They play fine in small screen. These videos could be ordinary avis or mpegs or divx, anything, & it just freezes...

3. I went to the MSI site and got this pic of the card (see figure frm MSI site) This is the same model I have, but mine DOES NOT HAVE A FAN (just a heatsink) ??? I had argued wth the dealer but he said that this is what the dealers are supplied with by the MSI itself.
I live in INdia (delhi), where we get summer temperatures in the range of anything above 40*C. So, pls advise me as to what kind of alternative should I go in for and what should be the specs of the fan I should search (of course you will help me in installing it, won't you

4. I have a 300 W PSU already running in my rig. Should I go in for a 400w one, considering that i am having devices on all 4 IDE channels ?? What do you advise? what make should i get ??

5. Last but not the least, could you advise me some "safe tweaks" for the card to increase a valuable few FPSs

Well, I guess thats it for now. As the card in new, I guess I will have much more to post in the times to come!!

Bye And thanks in anticipation for some gr8 advice...

Try the lastest zeropoint driver and see how the car performs. You can find a download link in the first post of the first thread of this forum.

zer0point, ExtremeG are both good drivers, however the zer0point drivers for sure and I think the ExtremeG as well only support XP,course I'm biased Performance wise and stability/error free operation wise, dump Me quickly, the sooner the better, the OS is the buggiest slowest, unstable garbage Os I've ever seen, they should have called in windows 95 beta 2.0
