error unexpected

im trying to watch a dvd on the nvidia dvd decoder but ,e get the error unexpected message , does anyone know why.im using the 67.66 beta drivers

well it wont be the drivers if everything else can open
unless the message came directly from the drivers.
try reinstalling both Drivers + that DVD software
if that dont help ya then i've got no other soloutions bro

try the official 66.93s instead of the betas.

did you try another program like powerdvd or windvd?

i think the nvidia decoder is not compatible with my sound card.i really wanted to know what pure video looks like.

Ummmm, is VMR enabled in that video driver set? What soundcard do you have? 6800GT doesn't have hardware decoding for Mpeg4, so purevideo is kinda a moot point. I think the 6800 only supports MPG1 and 2 decoding in hardware......
