help gforce 3ti 200 and 40.72 driver
Hi, I may be just paranoid. I just updated to the newwest nvidia driver (40.72). I like the new driver 'cause it makes word crisp and very sharp.
Her is my question, I did not unistall the old driver, instead I just install the new driver over the old one. I know people have been saying that's not good but I do not have seen much problem. Should I uninstall the old driver and reinstall the new one? Also, since I updated to the new driver, I have found out that all the control on my monitor is no longer works. What I mean is that all the little adjustment (light, position, size, etc) that's on the monitor is not working at all, is this normal for the new driver or there's something wrong with my computer? Secondly, I have found out from the property on the driver's window. It says that my card has Bus of AGP 2x. However, I thought g3 ti 200 is actually running at 4x and I am very sure that my mobo supports 4x (intel 815eea2lu). Is this normal or there's somethign wrong with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

Try this:
there is a little utility called detonator 40.41 fix at guru3d.com Run it and try the display properties....they should work. |
