70series temp prob - fix?
from electronic punk over at nvnews. -
Oh, forgot to mention it but any drivers built from yesterday onwards will be free of this bug. i.e. 76.10 will not be fixed. Any drivers from the 8th March 2005 will be free of this bug. Thanks to everyone that provided me with info ;D __________________ he seems to have some sort of inside track at nvidia & is almost always correct(though his dates tend to be of as far as predictions go ). anyway nice heads up from a nice guy.keep in mind that it is based on release date not driver#. gave up on nvidias screwy # system a while back. bet you they do not really know either. this also gives us something to look forward to in a driver release. & something new for 'the boys'. also means that if you guys have not figured it out yet i would drop it. i am glad that nvidia has finally copped to the bug & is dealing with it.

necrosis, if you are not already using them, the zeropoint 67 drivers are an excellent set that do not have the temp prob.
