Ideal overclock settings for a GeForce2 Ti?

Without using any heating
Any tips on how far (if far is the word) I could get away with?

Not really. In some cases the stock fan is barely enough to get away with. Just push it higher till it feels too hot.

OK here we go.

First: If this card has a fan heatsink we can continue if not dont
even try to overclock it.

SEcond :even with normal clocks these cards still get hot if your case isnt properly cooled.

Third: If you want to overclock it i suggest you get some extra cooling for the graphics card (like one of those Slot Coolers or at least a fan blowing air at it)

Now if you have done the above read this or else turn away and leave now cause i am not responsible if your card becomes a space heater.

.................................................. ..................................................

There is no such thing as "IDEAL" settings.

Core and memory clocks are not the same on all cards even if they are the same chipset(gf2 gf3 etc).
Alot of things may differ like constuction, psb type, memory type, cooling etc etc etc.

So what you do is find the settings that are best for YOUR card
without listening to someone else .

Do this for now:

Look at your default clock settings a and add 10% more to each clock to start.
Try it out..(benchmark)
Go back and boost it more but now only in 5 mhz steps at a time and test it again ..etc etc ...till you come to a point where either the card freezes or you notice it losing points.....

Now WHEN you find a stable clock setting be sure to run a few benchmarks to see how it goes HEAT wise.

If it overheats tune it down a bit or find a way to cool it better.

There now your an OVERCLOCKER...YIpEE!!!

The end
