Hi, I have an nVidia 6800 GT and I've just tried to upgrade from omega 1.6177 drivers to the latest omega drivers and I've had a problem.
I removed the old drivers, ran driver cleaner, rebooted and then installed the new 1.6693 drivers. I then rebooted again, and all I get is a blank screen and the monitor acts like it's being changed to a mode it doesn't support (which might well be the problem). As far as I can tell my PC has booted into windows fine, I just can't see anything .I have been able to go back to the 1.6177 drivers and they still work, but I wonder if anyone else has had a similar problem and found a fix? Thanks! Motherboard is: DFI Lanparty UT3 250GB RAM: Crucial ballistix 1GB Monitor is: TVM AS6S (old and rubbish but worked fine with 1.6177)OS: Windows 2000, all the latest updates installed |
