41.80 -> BF1942 Texture problems

I got the 41.80 installed and every time i play BF1942 i don't have any textures in firstperson view.

When i reverted back to the 31.40 there is no problem.
the 41.09 and 41.04 also didn't have this problem.

My question is does anyone else has this problem or is it just me?
And is there a forum or something in the likse where i can report this to Creative?

I'm gonna load the 41.09 drv, but the TV-Out sux on it.
If i go fullscreen te image gets distorted.

The solution is so simple, it could hit you in the head. Use the 41.09 drivers then.

And they are allready back on me system but i wanted to see if more ppl have this problem.
UT2K3 and so on looks ok, but only BF1942 has texture probs, and hey i like playing BF

Have to say that the 41.80 det's where faster for me then the 41.09.

Have to wait for the next release then.

Joman, did you also have those annoying textureless (is this a existing word? ) muzzleflashes of guns?

It only happened to me when i was walking. Friend of mine got it also when he was driving a Tank, flying a plane and so on.
World looked ok tho.

Hope Creative or Nvidia fixes this in the next Det version

I didn't like the 41.80 drivers for DX8.1 as it lowered my 3dmark a lot so I didn't try this for BF42. I heard of people on the futuremark.com forums having this problem 2.

only noticed it when walking but annoyed the hell out of me havent seen any fixes anywhere except for putting older drivers back in

I think this problem has beem fixed in the 42.01 drivers.

I currently play that game and with 42.01 and DX9 I've noticed no problems.

Your correct, the 42.01 in conjunction with DX 9 are working extremly well.
BF even runs faster with DX 9 installed and the 42.01 drv.

i've found they run well together as well. i'm a big madden game fan and madden 2003 runs awesome for me. i've tried previous drivers and used both dx8 and dx9 and found dx9 w. dets 42.01 are much of an improvement. now i know madden probably isn't the best game to test this stuff on, but heck i love that the graphics run smooth. that's what matters to me.

I know what you mean, hell even UT2K3 runs smooth whereas i had somteimes slow downs to 25 fps with the 41.09 in conjunction with DX 8.2 or 9.0, but since i have the 42.01 every game runs smoother then ever.

So i hope these babies are getting improved upon.
