Well, I guess that deserves a "w00t!" I love your work gentlemen (and ladies?), and I hope you continue to do it well, as you have in the past.

Sup' all! Been a proud DHzer0point user since I got my PCI-Ex 6800gt. I'm just a little worried that with this release there are some issues. I run a dual monitor setup, and seeing huge amounts of artifacts over my screensaver, not to mention it won't display at all in the second monitor. I also couldn't get the Dual Monitor Wizard to boot, over 5 different installs. I also find massive frameloss and horizontal lines in Sacred:Underworld. I can't run the game in non-fullscreen mode, without getting stuck at 1 FPS. I'm a little worried to backdate, but I love what this driver did to Far Cry. I'm seeing major improvement in framerates and quality.

Toyomatt84, can you run the dual monitor install manually? We're working on the issues, the massive hit in Sacred is the first I've heard of it, is this with AA/AF without doesn't matter?

Running dual mode monitor (CRT and LCD) on MSI 6600GT PCI-Express.

Happen to me two times already but BF2 would crash and then my secondary monitor would show a black screen meaning it somehow disable the monitor.

Also BF2 has been a bit laggy ever since the patch 1.03 was released. I don't know if it's the driver or the patch. I scan my computers with adware and nothing was detected.

Good info in here, Thanks everyone.

Haven't seen any probs with older hardware and regular
ol' setup [single monitor no sli] in this thread.

Hoping the driver rocks, comin from the 81.33s w/ BF2 shadow bug.
I'll report back if there's any probs.

Well, I got the Dual Monitors to work properly, but it wasn't going through the Wizard. I set it up manually through the Display Configurations in the Control Panel.

Now, as far as the Sacred issue. It turns out that if I non-fullscreen any game, it will run no better than 1 FPS. So far, that's happened on the following titles:
  • Day of Defeat: Source
  • Far Cry
  • BF2
  • Sacred: Underworld
  • Call of Duty: United Offensive
  • UT2004
  • MOHPA

I think it's quite an issue, for us dual-monitor users.

Now, when it comes to Far Cry, there are some nice updates for the multiplayer, such as the lighter hue on the ground coloring in certain maps. It really makes the trees and shrubbery stand out more. Basically, it adds more to the aesthetics of the game. The ground surface is what causes the most visual lag in the game, so A+ in the FC upgrade.

Once again, I'm still happy with this driver, due to it's increased functionality in most games. I only see minor hiccups that could be addressed.

i'll investigate the windowed mode bug, but that is most likely also related to dual screens, as i swear i've windowed games recently and seen no such bug.

we'll get on it though, but it most likely won't make this next release(very soon ), but rather a future one

Like I stated, it's coo' with me. I'd be just happy to see it clear up sometime over the next dhz's.
