Help, I've lost my SLI
I recently acquired a Dell XPS 600, x64, with dual 7800 GTX in SLI. A few days ago, I unintalled 78.01 and installed 81.84, after which I could no longer get SLI speeds. I tried uninstalling 81.84 and reinstalling 78.01, to no avail.
I tried, today, upgrading to 81.85, still with no luck. My machine says it's SLI capable and let's me turn on SLI. However, if I choose to show load balancing, the green line climbs all the way to the top or bottom, and I only get single card speeds. Anybody know where I can find my SLI? |

Try this; go to nV properties/Performance&Quality/Advanced view Settings, scroll down to SLI rendering mode and change that to SLI Multi-gpu rendering. But try a few games out, some do not support SLI.

Unfortunately, that's not the problem. I know the basics of how the SLI works and have all the settings set. I had several games that worked at SLI speeds before the upgrade, but post upgrade they are all at single card speeds.
Even if I downgrade the driver, they are still at single card speeds. I may jus thave to flatten the box. |

Either donate that PC to me or do a full format... And before the format, do Driver Cleaner avaible from this site.
