Using 1280x768 on Acer laptop

Hello everyone!

I have an Acer laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 64MB and I want to use the resolution 1280x768 on my 1280x800 native display. However, my laptop displays that resolution in virtual desktop and I have to use my mouse to move the screen arround.

Is there any way to fix this?

I've been searching for previous posts for this issue and all I found are the directions to use PowerStrip to fix this, but I don't know how to do it once installed.

Using latest Omega drivers on Win XP Pro SP2.

Thanks for any help!

System Specs

Not sure if it will work out but the path to adding custom resolutions in PowerStrip is:
Right-click tray icon > Display profiles > Configure > Advanced timing options > Custom resolutions. There it looks something like this.
