Resolution Woes & MultiRes
With the 6.2 drivers, ATI didn't allow me to choose a 1680x1050 resolution. With powerstrip I was able to add it in there, but I didn't like how my monitor would "refresh" when powerstrip loaded after a windows start. After downloading the omega drivers, I noticed that MANY MANY more resolution choices were available to choose. This was because of MultiRes. My question is: Upon installing MultiRes, do all the resolutions show up in Display properties, or is that just something special coded into omegadrivers? When I used powerstrip, all the resolutions weren't available right after an install, I had to add a resolution to my display properties screen. With multires, are they all added?

Anyone? Upon installing multires, are the resolutions supported by MultiRes automatically added to display properties, or do you have to define the custom resolution and then it's added to display properties?

It's been a while since I used it but in the taskbar you would right click on the multires icon and select your resolution. Something like that.

Hmmm. That's weird. With the omega drivers it doesn't even have the multires icon in the dock, yet I get to choose from a ton of resolutions inside display properties. With the ATI drivers, this was not true. Therefore, either omega coded something extra into there-since they're simply a modification of ati's drivers- or multires automatically added all resolutions. Anyone else?
