can't get new omega driver to install-HELP!!

my system:
hp m7357c- pentium D 2.8 gh, 1.5gb, 300gb hd, x1600 pro(512mb)

PLEASE- i need help installing new omega driver. i have dial-up, so it took 2 hours to download BOTH times! the first time, i uninstalled old drivers, then manually deleted every file i could find about ati, then downloaded(saved, but not run) new omega to desktop, then downloaded drivercleaner pro, ran that, THEN clicked on desktop omega icon, clicked run, GOT MESSAGE ABOUT EXTRACTING FILES. i'm fairly new to computers, so i don't understand that stuff yet. i saved the omega-icon file from desktop to CD, then deleted everything i could find about omega from my computer, used clean up utilities, then downloaded again. this time before download, i clicked 'run' unstead of save. after download, i clicked on run, and the whole thing dissapeared. H E L P ! ! !
