Need Omega Driver based on CATALYST 3.0a

Hi Omegadrive,

For long time I'm looking for your new driver based on New Fixed CATALYST 3.0a. Do u modify this version or is there any chance to release this driver? Please reply. Thanks.

I don't believe that Omegadrive has the 3.0a's modded, and he probably won't for a while, since he said that he has a lot going on in RL + he thought that the image quality on the most recent CATs were plenty good for now, and there was no urgent need to mod this version...

I am interested in the status of the new omegadrivers as well. Catalyst 3 is working almost fine on my rig apart some 2d issues, and that is why I would like to get a hold on a new set of omge drivers. Do you have a status update for us?

Well, I have two things to say - first, to our resident lurker (whassup?!

), now that I've been put in a mod position I'm not going to use the quote anymore... so you are more than welcome to it, + No_Style's permission

And to ExCibular, last I heard from Omega the Cat3's had no major image quality flaws, so he felt no overwhelming urgency to churn out another set of omegadrivers at this point, especially since is extremely busy in real life. Now, be patient, and enjoy what you have

But what I know that will be fixed in the next revision is (don't know if it will be 55a or newer, depends on the leaks):
1- Support for "RADEON IGP 340M"

3- Support for "RADEON 9500 PRO"
4- Keep the current OpenGL DLL (instead of the Cat3a) since the Alpha Blending bugs still there (test it with Wizardry 8).

I'll keep you informed when the next revision is due...
