Stickies not helping, Omega installation problems

Alright, to start:
Windows XP Pro, SP2, up to date
Intel P4 3.4ghz HT (550 model)
ATI Radeon X800XT
Creative SB Audigy 2ZS
1 gig (512x2) ram

All drivers up to date (with the exception of the one I'm having problems with)

Alright, a couple days ago before I reformatted my Windows partition I had managed to get the new Omega drivers(the 6.3 cats) installed. Post format, I can't get these things to take hold no matter what I do, tried the stickies, so far, not helping, and I'm unsure as to why they worked before, as opposed to what I'm doing now.

I've tried every way i know to install them, uninstall in safe mode, Driverclean in safe mode, install omegas in safe mode; uninstall and driverclean in safemode, than install after a restart, keeps ignoring my attempts to install the Omegas. I've searched through and deleted reg keys, drivercleaned plenty, cab cleaned, no help.

When i uninstall the regular yellow "!" vga quasi drivers Windows automatically puts on my vid card when I remove a real driver, and try to install the Omegas, it says I dont have an ATI board installed(that or it tells me I dont have a VGA compatible card). When I uninstall drivers, do everything I need to do in safemode, than try to install them, it installs, I restart, the Hardware Wizard starts spamming me crap, I cancel out of it's attempts, and the Omega's never grab hold. Attempts to reinstall after that via numerous methods won't procure any results.

I've now went back to the ATI official 6.3 cats until I can find a workaround, any help[ appreciated, and I can hopefully answer any questions I've left answers blank to. I'm sure I'm being a noob here somehow, but I can't rectify the problem myself.

Thanks much...

eh =/

Just tried, still a no go, it's like windows is ignoring my attempts to install these drivers, wish I knew how I got them working last time.

Oh.. and if anyone can lend a hand with this fantastic new problem I'd appreciate it

No idea, but I had this problem before. Dunno how I got my drivers to install though.

As for your case, it will work fine from now on.
