1900xtx Videocore

My CCC and any other program like ATI tool shows videocore 500Mhz and Mem 594Mhz
Is this ok?
I thought the Ati Overdrive would never go below default?

the card only hits the higher speeds in 3d. you are looking at 2d core and memory speeds.

The Omega drivers also show core 500Mhz. So how do I know if the switch is taking place?
