exclamation Radeon X600 Omega 3.8.221 HUGE PROBLEMS

Ok I have been using Omega drivers for a few weeks now and there have been some really crazy things going on with my computer that I do not know how to fix. Sometimes when I open or exit Source the entire screen will turn grey, or slowly change from grey to black in different areas in no sort of pattern whatsoever. Sometimes I can fix it by hitting alt + f4 but most of the time and especially lately I have only been able to fix it by manually shutting off my computer with the power button. Now when I play Source, it freezes every time and messes something up on my computer where I can no longer start it back up because of disk errors. I can only fix the problem by restarting in the recovery console and running check disk. I am thinking I will just get rid of the Omega drivers, but wasn't sure if I had to.
Thanks

Did you fully uninstall your old drivers then use Driver Cleaner before installing the Omegas? If not I suggest uninstalling the Omegas, running Driver Cleaner (follow the "read me" instructions) then reinstall the Omegas.

I have the exact same problem and I did all that you mentioned. The only drivers that don't cause this problem are the original ones that shipped with my laptop (HP ZD8000). Not even the updated HP drivers work properly. Another way I managed to avoid this is by not expanding the image to full panel size. This works because the screen res doesn't change when entering/exiting games but I hardly call it a solution when I have to play in a boxed window.
