Cat 6.4 and massive texture corruption In Farcry 64bit

Just got around to doing a clean install of far cry and then applying the patches for the 64 bit version (yes, in the correct order) indoor parts run fine, but when you get outside the textures become completely garbled and the game is unplayable. is this a known issue with the car 6.4's?? anyone else have this problem? also, how do I enable hdr

to enable HDR you need the beta 1.4 patch with ATI hardware then once you start the game go to the console and type the following:
\r_FSAA 2 and hit enter
\r_HRDRendering 2-11 *for HDR chose a value between 2-11*

As for the corruption of the graphics can you post screen shots?

Also your full system specs may be handy here also

You have overclocked your card right ??
Most of the times it's overstressing the hardware and that is the reason of any graphic corruption (especially in "intense" Graphic games or game areas)

Turn it to default values or just lower it and try again

hehe, I get the exact opposite. Outdoors are great but indoor stuff flash depending on the angle viewed. The crates switch from an old wooden look to a green army like crate. Looks like theres a wooden one inside it, very annoying lol
