System Specs

I would, but it hasn't updated yet

I hope I can install these though, for some reason I keep getting INF video driver errors with my X1800GTO. Only ones that do work are the Omega 6.3's. Official give the same error. It tells me to install some standard VGA driver or something

F.E.A.R. runs better noticably for me. On the test run it hardly ever dips into the less than 25 FPS range on Maximum settings. I can't wait to see how it's like after my card decides to overclock and all

Awesome release guys!

i tried to install these but i was having issues installing them like i did with the NGO 6.4s. I cannot figure out the problem.

here were my steps:
1. Uninstall Cat 6.4 drivers and CCC
2. Reboot to safemode and run just the DriverCleaner ATI CCC and ATI without using the cab cleaner
3. reboot to desktop have windows serach for the drivers just this one time.
4. download and install drivers
5. then reboot and shows the new hardware found app.

**then tried again with using the cab cleaner and get the same problem

Go into Control Panel and remove everything related to ATi, NGO, zer0point and whatever driv er you have used so far. Then go into safe mode and choose to remove everything ATi related wuth Drivercleaner. After that boot into normal windows and install the drivers without letting Windows look for them.

This set is definitely better than ATi's regular 6.4. FEAR performance went up quite a bit. I'll try more stuff later, but so far great work!

Adding on to what I said earlier.... Condemned (running on similar FEAR engine) also runs very well fully maxed, and BF2 rarely dropped under triple-digit frames (BF2 limits the frames at 100, so 98% of the time Fraps is stuck at 100. The original 6.4 drivers stayed over 100 about 85% of the time).

Widkidone, can you post your Device ID so I can look through the installer recognition portions and see if there is an issue there?

Hi, i have a doubt, if i decide to install the zer0point Control Panel, do i have to install zer0point CCC too? or i need to install Catalyst 6.4 and then zer0point CP?

what are the steps to follow? i wanna install zer0point without the CCC

peace out!

Thanks for the new set. However I can't seem to get these drivers to keep the new clocks I have set. I had no probs with the standard ATI 6.4's and overclocking. With this set I have used radlinker, ATT, and ATI Tool. Every time I enter into a game the clocks return straight to default.

Any ideas?

Thx!

Edgewise, install the DHzer0point drivers, at the end of the DHzp installer you'll see three choices, drivers, CCC and WDM just don't choose the CCC and then grab the CP from DHdownloads and install it after driver installation.

brownstonemr, I'm not sure why the drivers would give you a problem with overclocking, we wouldn't change anything having to do with clock rates, we don't want to damage anyones card. If you didn't uninstall the old drivers and run Driver cleaner in safe mode to get rid of the vestiges of what was there it could be causing a confilct.

Windows won't let me install 6.4

When I try to install DHzer0point0.64 drivers (after following the recommended procedure to get rid of the old drivers) I get the message that "Setup will only run in Administrator mode. Setup is aborting". I'm the system administrator and my system administrator account is the only account on my machine. I may have to go back to 6.3 (which installed without any problems) unless someone can show me the light here. Thanks for any help.

I couldn't re-install the DHzer0-6.3 drivers after I couldn't install the DH-6.4 drivers. So I tried the 6.3 Omega drivers. After it looked like they had installed it turned out that they hadn't really installed. I think that what I ended up with was a mix of DH and Omega. What a mess. I don't know if it's my machine or the drivers that are messed up. However, I did install the DH-6.3 without any problem at one time -- so it's probably something about my windows (WinXP pro sp2) that's become messed up since then. Maybe WinVista will be better.

Ok, so ive tried the last few releases and i've been pleased with them, but this newest set has some issues for me with textures. Here's what I mean:

The same thing is happening in Ghost Recon: AW, Guild Wars, but not in WOW. I'll be testing other games to see if they're getting the corruption too. any suggestions would be great.

I have uninstalled the previous drivers, used driver cleaner to clean all files, and installed normal and wdm drivers. I didnt see any issues during the install process.
