Do the newest Omega drivers work with x850's?

This is probably a silly question, but I've had enough problems with video card drivers in my life that I want to make sure before I install them.

http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php

It says there that the drivers work with all Radeon cards, but further below it mentions "Radeon xX00". An x850 doesn't exactly fit into any of those variables.

Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the forums, mate ... it's no silly question at all. We're here to help!

Well, I can tell you that they work with the X850-series - best example is my rig (see sig ).
I've been using Omega drivers for two years now and have never got any serious problem. I once switched back to normal Catalysts and was disappointed from that slow CCC and that it didn't save my settings.
I'll stick to Omegas as long as I have a Radeon card.

No, it perfectly fits here: "Radeon xX00" <- the big X is a variable for all known Radeon series (X700, X800 ...).
And there must also be a line where it says "Radeon X8x0" somewhere ...

I hope it is helpful. Enjoy!

I think x850 comes under x800 in the video preferences under adapter it says my card's chip is a X800 GTO
