No 1440x900 with 3.8.231 - bug?
Hi,
As the title says, I can't use 1440x900 on my extended monitor. My graphic card is a XPress 200M in a Laptop. The primary (internal) display works great with 1280x800. But if I make windows to extend the desktop to a second monitor, connected with a vga-cable, it only displays 1280x1024 (when 1400x1050 is chosen) or 1600x1200 (when 1440x900 is chosen) on the second monitor. Is this a bug in the drivers? regards, jan P.S. With omega v2.6.87 & Refreshfix I managed somehow to get it working. I used the setup for over a half year now (internal 1280x800, secondary 1440x900) but after I updated to 3.8.231 nothing is working ;( I tried to go back to 2.6.87 but for some reason I can't manage to let 1440x900 appear in the modes-list. The box "Unhide modes that...." is grey, so I can't check it Last edited by loswillios; Apr 30, 2006 at 01:18 PM. |

The Mode 1440x900 is choosable, but if chosen it displays only 1600x1200.
Or did I misunderstand you? |
