World War II Online

I'm having real problems with this game and I don't know how much of it is on my end and how much of it is in the actual gamecode but when people with similar systems have double FPS than I have I'm starting to wonder.

Athlon XP 3200+ (2.2GHz), 2 GB DDR400 and X850XT PE.

At times I get framrates down to 6-7 and that's with all settings in CCC and the game as low as possible. Changing res doesn't make much difference, I always get the best perf at 1600x1200. Not even overclocking the GPU helps.

I've tried the last Omega driver, Catalyst 6.4 and the Beta 6.5.. no difference at all between them.

I've even made a separate win installation, slimmed it down as much as I can and shut down nonessential services and only installed this game on that partition and I still get the same bad performance.

Somehow I'm quite sure it has to do with the game in itself but I'm wondering if anyone here has a tip or two on how to squeeze out a few more frames..

Bump.

There's noone round here that has any hint on what I can do to soup this up a bit until CRS has fixed the issues with the game?

It's a bit ridicilous really.. with all the tweaking I've done I can get up to 130 FPS at times, at least when flying, but I STILL only get around 8-10 FPS when I'm playing in a town with a battle going on.

I just can't believe that my X850 is to old and cranky after only a year of service...
