Default Post subtitles using 9026 drivers above cause washed out picture

Hi all,

I am having a strange problem. My system includes:
Amd Athlon 1.4
Iwill mb
W98se
Asus 612 R2 DVD Rom
MAudio 24/96 sound card
Radeon 64Mb VIVo DDR
PowerDVD 4Xp 1329 patched
WinDVD 4.0
ATi MMc 7.6
Ati 7.6 DVD
9071 drivers
Region Killer
Powerstrip WinDVD tweaker
Cachman
Zoom Player 2.60 final

Whenever I enaled subtitles using Ravisent Filters (v668) I think, the picture will turn brighter and a little washed out. Once the sub is off the picture reverts back to normal.
This also happens with ZP utilising the Ravisent Video filter.

Seems all the newer drivers from 9026, 9030 and 9031 all have this effect.
Only with 9021 did this disappered. Omega versions behave similarly based upon the above drivers.

I will appreciate if this community could provide me with some ideas. I love the 9031's and need subs for watching foreign films

You will rewarded with a heavenly place for this help! Truely I thanks those in advance.
This does not happen with PowerDVD avd WinDVD.

Several of us have reported this problem to Stephen Orr, ATi's 'owner' of MMC and in charge of development. I've received a couple of PM's from him at the AVS Forums and ATi is aware and working on this problem. So far, nothing new has come through for over a month now.

Hi Dyre Straits,

Thanks for the reply, guess I have to be more patient. ATi seems to be getting better.

Thanks again.
