OD: Automated Clock Config. Util. Issue

So I just put together the rig in my Sig(pretty darn happy with it so far) But Im having issues with the OD utility. First off it seems to VPU recover more often than not and when it doesnt it basically stops at the top of the GPU one and asks if I wish to apply it, but it does nothing with the memory clocks at all. Any other thing I have read on it and in the warning before it starts it says it will do the Memory too.
Keep in mind this a fresh install(48hrs old) so it has only ever had the Catalyst 6.5s in it. Yes I am OC the CPU but I put it back to stock to see if that was the issue and tho it didnt VPU Recover it again just hit the top of the GPU test then stopped and asked to apply it not even moving the memory clocks at all .
Any input on this would be appreciated, I dont feel like using The Overclocker or any other 3rd party program as this thing is pretty fast and I dont feel the need to go overboard with it so the OD utility is fine(if it worked right.....)
Thanks

Try to OC it manually; the auto clock utility is a little touchy. Just go up 5MHz at a time until you run into problems. Though I will say that I have yet to find an XTX that doesn’t max the CCC clocks

Well if I dont get it to succesfully run the tests it I push up the sliders and it quickly kicks them back down to defaults, not to mention half the time I can get it to run the tests it seems to reset them again after reboot even tho I check the preserve box.
Thanks for the suggestions

cuke2u is an unknown quantity at this point

Hi, on my system the adaptive overdrive has never worked and has always crashed the drivers. I reported it to ATI and after a bit of correspondance they suggested I get another card....
