NGO Driver 1.6.4 Question
I've been reading here how this would be the best video driver for my 9800 XT but had a question, does it have a feature to take screenshots in game like Omega and DH does? Thanks for the help!

Yes the NGO drivers are excellent! I'd think you'll like them and they do come with ATI Tray Tools which have the a feature to take screen shots. I haven't used the feature so I can't elaborate but it's in ATT Tools & Options section, then go to the General Options. Good Luck.

Yes, the ATT has the feature for Screenshots. You have to set it up in the HotKeys.

Alright, installed it, assigned it a hotkey, directed it towards the folder I wanted and I still get nothing when I push the key, can anyone figure out why this might happen? I assigned it to F9-F12 different times and I still am not able to take screens. I've checked in other games and I get screens from them. Any suggestions? What button do you assign to take screenshots for this program?
Have gone back and checked it out numerous times with other games and other keys and nothing works. Is there anything I might be doing wrong? Alright, don't know if this helps, but even if I try to hotkey different keys to showing the FPS in different corners and also hiding it, those won't work in the game, but in other games they will. Could I be doing something wrong here? What is everyone using for screenshots? Last edited by SadExchange; Jul 1, 2006 at 09:57 PM. |

BTW, if all you're really wanting to do is to get some screenshots, the F8 key is already set up for that in the game. It'll create some BMP files that you can convert to JPG or whatever using a decent image editor.
The screenshots will be found here (if you used the default installation): C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Monolith Productions\FEAR |

Actually I meant for Titan Quest Dire because I can't seem to take screens with ATT, is there a default for that game or a reason I can't take screens with ATT?

Is there a 'user.ini' or such file that you can open and edit? If so, some games (Oblivion is an example) where you have to turn on the screenshot ability in an .ini file. Others have settings you can access in the Options Menu. EDIT: If all else fails, you may want to try Screenshot Manager. It's a freebie and you can get it here: http://www.fileplanet.com/123603/120...enshot-Manager

UPDATE:
Screenshot Manager (mentioned above) works very well. I downloaded it and did a few sample shots of the Titan Quest Demo: ![]() ![]()

Thanks for the advice, does this program give you any kind of perfomance hit though because I tried using fraps and that seemed to bring my speed down a little. Thank you again!
