Need help in optimizing drivers for my card...

Hello.

Firstly, let me clarify that this is not a "which driver is best" thread, because there are plenty of these.

This thread is more about asking you to help me choose which set of drivers best fit for *my* card...

Well, I have a Gigabyte Radeon x1800XT, which of course have 512mb which is also a factor which comes into considiration (as I have heard that there are some drivers which are optimized for this amount of memory).

Also, I don't play Oblivion, so the chuck patch shouldn't play a role.

Well, thats about it, I'm sorry if someone thinks I shouldn't have opened a thread for this issue, and hope someone could help me out here

Thanks!

This is the link to download the NGO ATI Optimized drivers. There is an ULTRA option that you can select for cards with 256 MB or more. I really do like these drivers. There's plenty of support for them, too.

Well, worth a try, I say...
I'll remove my current 6.6 with driver cleaner and try these...
