ATI MMC 9.15 released

With all the hoopla over Cat 6.8, it looks like you guys missed the release of MMC 9.15

I guess us AIW owners are the 'Rodney Dangerfields" of the GPU Universe

This is a great release.

Yes I am recording HDTV content and S-VIDEO at the same time with MMC.

I also forced TOD always on for S-VIDEO and Composite input.. I like it that way! Sometimes I miss something and I like to rewind.

Everything plays smooth as butter. With TOD enabled I have no issues not only playing both S-VIDEO and HDTV content and even recording both sources at the same time and browsing the WEB at the same time!

Like I said... great release!

All uninstalls and installs went smoothly... So after 8 reboots, don't see any diffs but working ok, the TV problem i had after installing CCC6.7 is gone, don't know if that's related to 6.8 or re-install of everything.
However, still can't record anything?????????????????????????????????????????
Schedule a program and nothing happens???????????????????????????????????
ATISCHED running in startup, wth???????????????????????????????????????????

How do you have your 1TB of HDs setup? Do you assign your recordings to another partition or drive? Are both recordings going to the same drive?
Where is your pagefile?

I actually have more than 1TB of storage.

Microsoft Windows XP Media Center 2005 Rollup 2 is installed on a Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3160812A 160GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA100. The page file is on this drive. I see no reason to move the page file in my setup and use case.

My video and audio files are split between several Raid-0 drives.

* Hard Disk-1&2: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3300622AS 300GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s x 2 (total 600GB) RAID-0
* Hard Disk-3&4: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s x 2 (total 640GB) RAID-0

So I have 160GB+600GB+640GB = 1.4TB

I force the temp drive for recoring to the 600GB array. I also record to the 600GB array.
Both recordings were going to the same drive and same folder.
I watched both test clips after recording and there were no problems at all in the finished recording.

My current system specs:
My System
* Monitor: Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW 24" LCD
* Motherboard: ASUS A8R-MVP ATX AMD CrossFire Motherboard - BIOS 309

Cool, i guess with those SATA, 3.0Gb/s HDs running in RAID and 2 Gs of ram is what keeps up with the TV demands.
All you need is good hardware to make the system fly. I had those Corsairs myself but were not working well with my mobo. If i tried to run them at advertised speeds, computer would lock, BIOS would crash to the point where i had to insert a floppy and reflash, 1000s of memtest errors. Even after i got a replacement from Corsair.
I finally sold them and tried OCZ, wow, no problems running 2-3-2-5, no crashing, no quit to desktop in games, no TV crashing, i was even able to turn on Turbo Mode and Performance Acceleration in the BIOS, something i was never able to do with Corsair and even Geil Golden Dragons before.
Along with some nice 300GB 16MB SATA HDs, with some good partitionning, everything is flying.

With stock settings ( 2.2Ghz ) I am using my CORSAIR TWINX2048-3200C2PRO at 2-3-3-6 with 1T Command rate.

My overclock settings ( 2.585 Ghz ) I run with 2.5-3-3-6 still with 1T Command rate.

These CORSAIR parts have worked very well for me.

And yes... fast drives help a lot here.
