DVD Freezing

I have the latest Omega drivers, and was watching a few dvd's on the train this weekend

it seemed hat when I had hardware acceleration and colour dept on I would either blue screen to an ATI
driver or just simply freeze. When I turned it off...things were fine...

Any thoughs?

I think for correct answer you must write: what player you use and what version?

as well as what driver ? ram? cpu?

actually it is turning out to be more than just the dvd

when I use a java applet and quit, it blue screens me with an ati driver, but I think my system is fucked...

going to do the old nuke'em over the weekend and rebuild from scratch.

If I am still having problems, I will post back
