Radeon 9000 Pro lockup prob. plz help

Hello. I have a question on how I can fix this problem. I just installed my ATI Radeon 9000 Pro and all the drivers for it (newest) Including DX 9.0. Anyaway, I also purchased Unreal II for it. This is what I need to fix. WHen I run Unreal II ( or any of my games for that matter) As it is loading the moniter just shuts off and the system locks up. How should I fix this? I am running windows XP pro. Also, I can run like Warcraft 3 perfect for like 15 second in-game and it will shut down the moniter to Stand-by mode. Or the game will just freeze in the main menu.

Have you tried raising the agp voltage in the bios to 1.6v? Also make sure Fastwrites are off.

Also my BIOS doesn't have an option to change the voltage. Any other suggestions?

I think it is the power supply... its only a 250 watt with 2 hdd's and 3 cd roms... and this card. Perhaps I can underclock the card will i get a new pwoer supply. Here is where I find this conclusion if ya wanna take a look.

try switching the RAM around, like put it in different slots. That turned out to be my problem when my computer wouldn't turn on.
