Radeon 8500 LE 128 DDR Bios?

I haven't touched anything to do with the bios of this card, but I see bios files floating around, should I flash the vid bios or what exactly does this mean / do?

If you have no problems with it, keep the current BIOS.

I'm just curious if it can increase the performence and such...

not try other BIOS'es - any day ago I try flash for SuperGrace 8500LE more "powerfull" BIOS - (default SG Radeon 8500LE has 255/222) - I try more than six revisions:

1. original OEM ATI 8500 (first 8500LE) 250/250
2. Sapphire 8500LE 250/250
3. Sapphire 8500LE 250/240
4. Hercules 8500LE 250/250
5. Club3D 8500LE 250/250
PowerMAgic, Gigabyte - all not work correctly - video card starts - in DOS no any signs on screen, WinXP start, but all screen in artefacts.

if you want tweak your card - take any tweaker - test core/ram stability work frequency and with help RadEdit you can edit BIOS ans flash.
