2r4z0r2 is on a distinguished road

vertical sync not applying in crossfire

i am running 2 x1800xl cards on an 3200ati chipset motherboard and all is fine until i try to reduce the tearing by enabling vsync...it seems that it doesnt work...i have tried drivers form 6.5 up and used vsync option in games, ccc, and ati tray tools without it sticking...however it does work in superAA mode 8x-14x but that only enhances image quality...all the other "speed" modes are unable to run with vsync on, and there is a lot of tearing on my dell 2005fpw lcd...does anyone have a suggestion what more i can try to resolve this? tnx

Depending on the game, some of them have FPS caps. I know for CS 1.6 I have to cap at my VSynced rate or the mouse control gets all funky on me
