Gameplay problems

Do you know why some games dont work properly?, i mean, when pressing to move (left/right/back/forward) the movement stuck and keep walking, juts by presing the button few seconds, or it doesn move or the "look" (mouse) get stuck also.

This has happening a lot with games such as Half life 2 Episode 1, Ghostracon Advanced Warfighter, Hitman Blood Money. And with Need for speed MW, Fifa Wolrd cup 06. And in the other hand games like CoD 2, Rainbox Six Lockdown, Star Wars Battlefront II, The Godfather, it has never happend.

Please help, what could it be?

Have you tried with another keyboard?

Make sure you have no other gaming devices (like a gamepad) plugged in, and best to keep any such device (also mobile phone) away from the PC.

Well, with i used to have a game control usb, but i installed with other windows. Mobile phones?, i didnt know this. To mention, the keyboard and the mouse are USB, and they are plug to the mainboard's usb-ports, alone with the extigy sound card.

Hi
I have the same problem with at least 2 games SWAT4 and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic demo, it happens mostly when I Alt+Tab from the game and back.

My mouse and keyboard are connected with ps/2.

I have noticed this problem aswell and i cant figure out whats the cause.

in NFSMW if i press accelerate then left then brake the car wont break with 2 keys already pressed down...

other games are the same weird problem it like the keyboard wont allow more than 3 keys pressed down at the same time.......

is there a setting in windows to allow more key presses...
the keyboard im useing is a LOGITECH G15.

Hi

I know some keyboards can't see some combinations of key presses and it's a hardware problem mostly 3 or more keys at the same time, but a "Gamer" keyboard like Logitech G15 seems unlikely to have this problem.

But you're problem don't seem to be the same as mine and the original posters?

i've noticed kind a progress, changing some option on ATT from "High quality" to "performanced", for example on the texture preference option. This make less stupid the game (the bug of this main post) but still there...

Try and comment what happend

have a nice day...
