Nope, works with the following so far, 9700 Pro, 9800 Mobility, 9800XT, X800XTPE, X850XTPE. INF lists every card supported, these just enable the X1900 and X1950's to be able to use the GPU folding program. I can not test these on my main system as I do not run 32bit windows.

What about the crashes in Oblivion (6.8-6.9) are they still there in 6.10?

Pretty dissapointing experiences here

Condemned corruption (CF-only issue) after autosave and reloading is still present "take 5".
Renaming "CoJ" to "Oblivion" no longer works in CoJ (black screen). So no CF (advanced AI won't do it) and no HDR+AA in this game.

I don't hold my breath for futuregames...but it simply takes to long before the advantages of CF and HDR+AA are enabled in games when it should make the difference and where it's really needed.

On the good side, HDR+AA works in Oblivion, corruption in Dragontest (3DM06)is gone too

Stream computing is a nice grimmick, but fast and good gamesupport is what counts. Comeone ATI hire some gamers to betatest your drivers. (hint

stream computing ISNT a gimick, actually...it's the "save you from buying a $280 physX card" solution

physX cards are joke in the first place, newer games like Crysis, Alan Wake, UT2K7 will use a dual or quad core processor to do physX at more indepth quality since the Processors are way faster then physX cards.

Where are my 64bit 6.10 Beta's, don't make me come to Ontario.

You couldn't be more wrong.

CPU's can certainly handle decent amounts of Physics, but they can barely manage soft-cloth/fabric effects, and even though they may be able to produce a lot of varied effects, they're of a much poorer quality than that which a Physx card could produce (physics objects suffer from less interaction with other objects and such).

Alan Wake is so far the only game to officially utilise an additional core to do physics processing, and if you've seen that recent IDF '06 video of the CPU physics-driven tornado, you'd see what I mean. Objects been thrown around are incredibly rigid and don't interact well with other objects within the cloud.

Physx is a fantastic solution, it just needs a lot of dedicated work to get off the ground and become a mainstream success. People's overbearing sceptisicm towards it is the only thing keeping it from truly enhancing our games...there's only so much a hardware designer can do before the task falls upon the games designer to make proper use of it.

And what about the new AI card??

Then we gonna see Smell Card, CPU2 Card, bla bla bla...

Watch the Crysis and UT2K7 video interviews, Epic Games was gonna make full use of the Aegia phsyX card but after utilizing the extra core in a dualy it was more reliable and allowed for more to be done, even Crytek stated dual and quad cores would most likely be required to power the physX engine of the game although single cores will work the performance hit would be massive.

Well, those 6.9 Omegas are somehow strange to my system. Perhaps, I'll give that 6.10Beta a go. (haven't experienced performance gains since NGO 1.6.6 - really should have stayed with them, though ).
