Is my this Driver or my Hardware messing about?

I have a new X1900XT with the new x64 6.9 driver set, and when running games Im exsperiaencing strange behaveyer. Such as BF2 ground textures flickering and NFS most wanted the shodows going into slow motion and turning into blocks. Any answers on this?

Try disabling dynamic shadows in both games, they do not function well on ATI hardware. Also try using the Alternate Pixle Center through the ATI CCC this could fix the texture corruption in BF2 but it could cause issues in other games.

This could very well be an issue with your card though since your are experiencing issues in multiple games. I'd suggest uninstalling the drivers and then using driver cleaner professional to eliminate any other remenants on the driver then download and re-install. You may also want to try and update Directx 9 to the August release, here's a link:
