Problem since 6.7 with resolution and refresh rate

Whenever I reboot my system my resolution resets to 640x480 and the refresh rate to 60hz. Ive tried uninstalling the drivers running driver cleaner in safe mode and Cab Cleaner. Still does it. Im not using a dual monitor setup. Any ideas how to fix this?

ok, so if u go back to 6.6 or below, is it gone?
If it still exists, i'd recommend jus formatting the comp; unless you're willing to give more info.

and yes, reverting back to 6.6 fixes it.. The problem exists in DH Zero Point and Omega drivers aswell.

I once...or twice...had a problem like this a couple years or so ago. It seems to me that it corrected itself after a few restarts.

BUT, it seems that the main thing that fixed it was to reinstall my chipset drivers. See if that does the trick for you.
