X1900Xt Driver Issues- HELP!!
Howdy ppl! new to the forums and desperately need your help...
Been using the HIS ICEQ3 X1900xt with my Samsung TFT (digital connection) without any issues. I was previously using stock drivers and today installed the omega drivers. As soon as I finished installing and restarted my pc, it stopped detecting the video card. I switched to my onboard card and completely uninstalled the omega drivers and reinstalled the stock drivers but no luck. It however works perfectly with an Analog connection but as soon as i connect the digital connection the screen just blanks out. Any idea why this is happening? im really hoping that my graphic card is not buggered... cheers! |

i think it has something to do with the driver which by defaults sets the primary connecting port to the analogue one, therefore when you put it to the DVI port, which could be detected as secondary port, the x1900xt did not search the secondary for connections, thus the blank screen.
i can tell you that it has nothing to do with detecting video card. |
