Sad Deinterlace = weave after uninstalling CCC

I tried CCC again but didn't like it so I uninstalled it, now when watching a movie (DVD/SVCD...) it looks like someone sliced the picture, it's the deinterlacing that is causing this, right? I remember a while ago that when changing to weave the picture looked just like this, now my question is: how do I get the deinterlace settings that was before CCC was installed, can I force the deinterlace settings with any application?

WMP always starts with weave as the default deinterlace method, well, now it does that even with CCC installed, everytime I start CCC it says: current = weave, new=adaptive or something. What did Catalyst Control Center do to my settings???

Now I am using Media Player Classic and it works (ffdshow) but want to use WMP and other apps too, what should I do, please help
