Omega drivers vs. ATI's question
I was just curious what's the difference between the two. What new features or improvements are in one vs. the other.
Thanks! |

What Omega does is clean the drivers up basically. ATI drivers will always go for the most speed. Omega's drivers go for quality at the expense of a little speed and clean up whatever little glitches they may have. IMHO his quality over a couple frames is more than worth it. I have come to wait for them over ATI's offering. Hell they should give him a damn job there

ATi tries not to sacrafice IQ for speed. They more find a good acceptable medium. However in the video card market keeping your card competitive is very important. Nvidia was king and they did it in raw performance... not in image quality. So IQ is left slightly behind sometimes.
