What's New in Omega Drivers?
v3.8.330
[*] Based on the Catalyst 7.1 Official drivers.
[+] Added support for some new chipsets.
[*] Clarified some options in the installer.

What's new for ATI Tray Tools?
1.2.6.964
[F] Fixed procedure to display memory clocks as DDR in Overclocking Window.
[*] Updated tray icon
[+] Added hotkeys to switch monitor rotation between 0/90 and 0/270
[+] Added Romanian translation[*] Updated existing translation files
[+] Added Memory IO voltage control for X1xxx video boards.
[+] Updated GUI interface for some dialog boxes
[*] Updated more names database
[+] Added 500ms delay before restoring previous 3D settings after exiting from game. If this included in game profile.
[*] Updated text rendering procedure in FlashOSD module
[*] Updated overclocking support for RV570 and RV560 boards. Thanks Unwinder for help and information.

The original release had a "flag" problem on 3 files and if you didn't selected to install ATT, 3 files will be reported as missing when installing the drivers, this has been fixed and the name of the name of the new file is "rad_w2kxp_omega_38330_7z_fixed.exe", please re-download if you experienced the problem in the first release. Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused.

Thank you for new driver sets, but for some reason during installation i get a copy error it can not find the ativdkxx.vp file.

EDIT: It also cant find ativvaxx.dat

Ops, I just checked my installer, the files are there, but those files where linked to ATT instead of the core drivers, so if u installed the drivers and NOT ATT, they will be missing, sorry about that, will re-upload the fixed installer asap.

The last version was beta, waiting on the final release. If your comfortable using a beta, go ahead.

Thanks for the drivers Omegadrive, I'm downloading now. Does the above comment mean I can't use this version of ATI tray tools included in this driverset with my x1950?

I was just curious.
I wouldn't call the .977 release anymore of a beta than the .964 release. It really doesn't benefit me either way with my current card. I might be getting the 1950pro sooner than expected and then it will benefit me. That is why I was wondering.

The .964 release that is included with the Omegas are supposed to work. The beta .977 release is supposed to work better with that specific card. I do not have one yet to say either way. I am just going by the release notes of the app.

Ok, thanks. I will just download the v.977 beta then and use Omega's drivers with that.

Hi, Omega,

Since I installed these latest drivers I can't submit a result for the 3DMark2k5 Benchmark. I can run it just fine. It completes and then prompts for me to click the button to submit and see my score online. Just as soon as I click that button, my system locks up. The only remedy is to press the RESET button on the front of the case. This has now happened twice in a row.

This is the first time ever I've had a problem like this. If you check the Benchmark forum, you'll see I've submitted plenty of these in the past.

So, if you, or anyone else, can help me out here, I'd appreciate it. The drivers seem to be working quite well otherwise, so far.

for my rig it's outstanding, for my northwood 3000 with new sapphire x1950 AGP it stops @ 6.5k

Do they support ATI X1700 (not X700)?
It's always written " Radeon X 1k Series" but they never support it.

I have a problem during installlation ...
When i try to install driver, i have an InstallShield Setup Launcher error ...

Details are

Hi! I can´t install Omega 7.1 (the "fixed" version), it doesn´t find my card (ATI X1950XT). After I reboot XP (SP2) installs the standard VGA adapter. I went back to NGOHQ 6.12 and everything is fine.

Yes, that date is the last time I was able to submit a score to Futuremark. I can't do so with these new Omegadrivers. It locks up as soon as I click the submit button.

This happened ever since i patched 3dmark06 - both with official 6.12 and official 7.1 drivers. So it can be a problem with 3dmark rather than drivers - but who knows? (=

Since ATi Tray Tool doesnt work very well for me with my X1900XTX card.
I use ATItools insted. But hey these Omega 7.1 gave me a boost on bench with 3DMark

Compare to ATI's 7.1
