Does anyone have any ideas to why ATI Tray Tools 1.2.6.930 and above will not let my computer enter and/or resume from standby?
Since ATI Tray Tools 1.2.6.930 I've been having standby issues with my ATI Mobility Radeon X300 videocard such that when I try to enter standby the LCD turns off but all the lights and fans stay on with no harddrive activity. I've been able to get the system to standby by turning off the "Reset clocks before suspend mode" setting but when I try to resume from standby I get the same issues; all the lights and fans come on but no LCD display or harddrive activity. I thought that upgrading to Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.330 (ATI Tray Tools 1.2.6.964 incl) would solve the problem but the problem still exists. I've found that rolling back to Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.273 (ATI Tray Tools 1.0.5.880 incl) fixes this issue. Simply exiting ATI Tray Tools before I do a standby will allow me to standby and resume from standby normally so the problem resides in ATI Tray Tools. |

Same problem here. Many others have reported same thing. No problems w/ATT 1.0.5.880, which is fine for my older x850XT PE.
