Can't install ANY Cat's now!

I tried to install the new Omegas over the Cat 3.2's I had installed. The install ran a little weird (it installed twice for each display head) then after the install seemed to be done, I got and error. Setup could not complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with standard VGA driver before running setup. I don't run the ATI control panel to rule that out, So I uninstalled the omega's,uninstalled the ATI Drivers and ran driver cleaner and rebooted. Now I can't install any version of any driver, ATI or Omega. Same error every time. I would appreciate any help or ideas. Thanks

That fix doesn't work (WinXP only, I'm running 2K) thanks anyways peroni. Any other takers? I'd like to avoid a reinstall if at all possible, but I'm just about out of options. If anyone has any ideas at all I'm open to suggestions.
