Also the CCC isnt running yet. I always turn of unneeded services and crap like this. Once adjusted I close the CCC and everything is fine. Most games include ingame aa/af settings. If not some times i have to start the CCC, which starts a bit slower, but that's ok! So I wanted to handle the ATT thing the same.
Just report when ur updated version is online!

But really good work till now. Will test them a bit more this week i think..

OK, leave the ATT color as it is if most users like it, I just don't like it because it totally doesn't fit into my dark windows environment. I'll use standard latest stable ATT version instead (or I could disable the skinned menu

).

I tried to reinstall the drivers (using DriverCleaner) and ATT. It didn't help, the compressed textures problem is still there.

And about CCC emulation mode switch. It just merges "D3D settings" and "OGL settings" into "3D Settings" to emulate CCC behavior, it doesn't mean that CCC has to be installed (AFAIK). Does this switch have any other functions?

€: installation via device manager gives code 10 error in the device manager....what's up?!

Packages updated hope to have install issues fixed now

Yeah I'm reuploading new packages now, after that i need some sleep. The idividual packages get smaller, but the total work for them the 1st release will be bigger as i have to rework each driver all the time now. When the 1st releases are stable it's just upto re-tweaking each package to the max.

@ 1:00 GMT+1 the new files should be up with rehandled support wich i hope will solve the issues. Thx for the help here guy's i really appreciate it norally we don't do any/almost none public beta's but we are re-arranging the whole beta team (both DNA-ATi and DNA-Force) so we are now in the process of adding new members to the team that are willing to.

I'm updating the drivers now. Should be online @ 4:00 the new release should fix the OpenGL texture compression issues, and it comes with and updated OpenGL tweak base (more tweaks Tweaks -> Advanced Tweaks) for more OpenGL control.

This pops up 10 times. If i klick ok, it comes back.
After aproximately 5 times there is an "INF error. Video driver not found"
What's this?

I'm sorry to bring more bad news, but the Compressed textures problem is still there and in addition the installer fails to install the drivers for the Secondary device. When I try to install them manually it fails with a "wrong parameter" error message.

I just noticed another thing. When I view the Folding@Home graphics the molecule appears gradually atom by atom and it takes about 1 second. With standard Catalyst the molecule is redrawn instantly.
It could be related to some OpenGL tweaks, because the FAH client uses OpenGL to draw graphics...

trying why heck this compression error keeps happens even happens on my x700pro card I didn't had any issues with dna 7.1 drivers it's weird bug. By the way we do need another x700pro person to test the drivers set please do

Just to sum it up.
With the first DNA-ATI x32 package I downloaded (4.3.2007, 12:59 GMT+1, size 25,1 MB) the driver installation works fine (both primary and secondary device), but the OpenGL bug is there.

The second package (5.3.2007, 11:42, size 14,7 MB) fails to install the driver for the secondary device and manual instalation fails with that wrong parameter error. OpenGL bug still there (can be fixed with reg update).

So the installer bug is probably caused by some change between these two packages...

the drivers were missing 5+ files to install. a bunch of inf files. so needless to say really didn't work well.

It would be better if you siad what package do you use, because there are four different packages and nobody knows which one do you talk about.

KillerSneak has been active on his DNA-forum (BTW, it seems that the DNA-site is down ATM), but he didn't visit this thread for quite a long time...

I was using the 32-bit one for XP. It might not be anything wrong with the drivers, I can't get regular Catylst drivers to work correctly either..
