Strange error Settings dont stay at what i put them at :OverLay Error ???????

when i start up PowerDVD and im watching a movie i go to full screen and i notice then is black bottom and black top now i get that part thats widescreen ok now just above the bottom widescreen black bar there is another bar 2 mm in hight and same on the top now if i go into overlay on the control pannel and click DEFAULT then apply then those 2mm black lines vanish now when i exit powerdvd and start it up again then thos dam lines are there again i have to go and keep defaulting the overlay to fix the problem ?

why is this happening ? i know its no biggy but i would like it fixed. thats if there is a solution.

and i have tryed the following but still happens...

uninstalled and reinstalled drivers all difrent kinds aswell hehe 3.1 / 3.2 ect.
